The 2013 Formula One season continues the joint TV deal between Sky Sports and the BBC. Sky Sports F1 HD is also available again this season, free to all Sky Sports 1 and 2 subscribers and is available on their web streaming service SkyGo.  Ten of the Grand Prixs shown on Sky Sports F1 HD will also be shown Live on the BBC, along with qualifying sessions; on BBC One HD, BBC Sport Website and BBC iPlayer.

The Italian Grand Prix will be available for free live streaming online from the BBC Sport Website and TV on BBC One HD.

The Italian Grand Prix (Gran Premio d'Italia) is one of the longest running events on the motor racing calendar. The first Italian Grand Prix motor racing championship took place on 4 September 1921 at Brescia. However, the race is more closely associated with the course at Monza, which was built in 1922 in time for that year's race, and has been the location for most of the races over the years.
