The Six Nations Championship (referred to as RBS 6 Nations for sponsorship reasons), known before 2000 as the Five Nations Championship, is an annual international rugby union competition involving six European sides: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.
The BBC will bring you all the action from the RBS 6 Nations, offering comprehensive multi-platform coverage of the entire Championship. Live coverage starts in February 2013 on BBC TV and the BBC Sport website.
John Inverdale presents the BBC's coverage, along with Gabby Logan and Jason Mohammed. Commentary comes from Eddie Butler, Andrew Cotter and Alastair Eykyn, with Jonathan Davies, Phillip Matthews, Brian Moore and Andy Nicol as co-commentators. The pitch side reporting team includes Jill Douglas, Sonja McLaughlan and Graham Thomas.

The BBC has secured the UK broadcast and online rights for the Six Nations rugby union tournament until 2013. The deal covers TV, radio and online rights for the tournament, which involves 15 matches between England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy all shown live over the internet and on television.
